About

Through a combination of critical home repair, preservation, and weatherization projects, our Home Repair and Preservation program supports homeowners in building the necessary resiliency, sustainability and stability to remain living in their safe, decent and affordable homes. We support homeowners with limited incomes including elderly, veterans and families with disabilities by helping them maintain housing stability, avert homelessness and decrease utility costs while preserving affordable homes in our neighborhoods.

Current Projects

We currently have one Roof Repair/Replacement project available this fall. The project selected will be scheduled for completion in October or November 2026, based on the availability of our roofing contractor partner. At this time, only composite shingle roofs will be considered. Rolled, membrane, metal, or other roof types are not eligible.

Eligibility 

To apply for a Roof Repair/Replacement project, you must meet the following criteria: 

• Your total household income must be at or below 60% of Area Median Income (AMI) for Snohomish County, WA 

• You must own and live in your home 

• Your home must be located in Snohomish County 

• You must have homeowner’s insurance

• You must own a non-manufactured home
