Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County partners with Second Use Building Materials to accept your donation of almost any items you take out of your home. Especially needed are doors, windows, cabinets (kitchen or other) and working appliances ( 10 years or less). But almost any building or remodeling material that's in good shape can be recycled through Second Use Building Materials store, saving you disposal costs, keeping usable materials out of the land fill, and providing a tax deduction.  Equally important, your donations will go back into the community in two ways:  first by helping provide people with a thrifty way to upgradetheir homes; and second, by providing a donation that turns into cash to help support our next build.

Second Use Building Materials resells your new or used items for 50% to 70% off retail prices. All operating profits from Second Use Building Materials sales of donations in the name of the Snohomish County affiliate go into Habitat's building program, helping provide adequate housing for Snohomish County families.
